Waimakariri Light Party
The Waimakariri Light Party is a fun family evening offering a non-scary alternative to traditional Halloween activities in a safe and positive environment.
For children and youth (aged 4 to 14 years old).
The fun at the Waimakariri Light Party, kicked-off at 4:30pm with a multitude of entertainment activities such as bungees, bouncy castles, bumper boats, petting farm, pony rides, climbing walls, mini jeeps, giant slides, water walkers and Pedalmania crazy bikes.
A highlight of the night was a non-scary fancy dress competition, followed by a fancy-dress parade. Additional entertainment included a dog agility display by the Waimakariri Dog Training Club, children’s entertainment duo - the natural magic pirates, music, face painting and spot prizes.
Clowns, a magician and various character mascots (such as Peppa Pig) roamed around the event interacting with attendees.
